8. Google Privacy Policy
8.1 Who We Are
Smart ERP is developed and operated by Imatic Technologies Limited, located at Plot no. 36-37, Mirambo, Samora Ave, Dar es Salaam,Tanzania. If you have questions about this privacy policy or how your Google user data is handled, contact

8.2 Google User Data We Access
Smart ERP requests access to Google user data only after the user grants permission through Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization process. Specifically, Smart ERP requests the following Google API scopes:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/meetings.space.created
8.3 How We Use Google User Data
Google Calendar and Google Meet data obtained through these scopes is used solely to provide the following features within Smart ERP:
- Viewing calendar events.
- Creating, updating, and deleting calendar events.
- Scheduling meetings.
- Creating and managing Google Meet meeting links through Google Calendar.
- Synchronizing calendar events between the user's Google Calendar and Smart ERP.
Google user data is used only to provide these features and is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
8.4 Limited Use Disclosure
In compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, Smart ERP explicitly commits to the following, individually:
- We do not use Google user data to train or improve generalized, non-personalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models, including foundational models.
- We do not allow human employees or contractors to read Google user data, except: (a) with the user's affirmative, specific agreement to view particular data for support purposes; (b) where necessary for security purposes, such
as investigating abuse; or (c) to comply with applicable law.
- We do not use or transfer Google user data for serving advertisements of any kind, including personalized or interest-based advertising.
- We limit our use of Google user data to providing or improving the user-facing calendar and meeting features described in Section 3. All other uses are prohibited.
- We only transfer Google user data to others where necessary to provide or improve those user-facing features, and only as described in Section 5 below.
8.5 Data Sharing and Disclosure
Smart ERP does not sell, rent, trade, or share Google user data with third parties for their own independent purposes.
Google Calendar data and Google Meet meeting information are stored within Smart ERP's database, which is hosted on https:www.wingu.africa. This provider processes data solely to provide underlying infrastructure and does not access
Google user data for any independent purpose.
Google user data is disclosed only in the following limited circumstances:
- When required by applicable law or a valid legal process.
- To comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
- To protect the rights, security, or safety of Smart ERP, its users, or the public.
- When the user has provided explicit consent.
No Google user data is shared with third-party advertisers, marketing companies, analytics providers, or any external organizations for independent use.
8.6 Data Storage, Security, and Retention
Google Calendar data and Google Meet meeting information are securely stored and are retained only for as long as necessary to provide the requested services or to comply with applicable legal requirements.
Smart ERP implements appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational security measures including encryption of data in transit and at rest to protect Google user data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or
destruction.
Users may request deletion of their stored Google Calendar data from Smart ERP at any time by contacting [email protected], independent of revoking OAuth access.
Users may revoke Smart ERP's access to their Google Account at any time through their Google Account security settings. Once access is revoked, Smart ERP will no longer access the user's Google Calendar data, and any previously stored
data will be deleted in accordance with the retention terms above.
8.7 Children's Privacy
Smart ERP is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in the user's jurisdiction) and does not knowingly collect Google user data from children. Smart ERP does not use Google Sign-In or
other Google API services in any product or feature directed primarily at children.
8.8 Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy
Smart ERP's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements described individually in Section 4 above.
8.9 Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Smart ERP after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the
revised policy.
